On-Site Coordinator for ENRICHMENT MATTERS (Arlington, VA)

We support PTA/PTO volunteers, schools and Providers in bringing enrichment programs to school children. Enrichment Matters is seeking an On-Site Coordinator to oversee program operations and student safety at an EM Member School within Arlington,  VA each day that enrichment classes meet.

The On-Site Coordinator position is part-time with seasonal variations in hours needed; minimum 6 hours per week; maximum 10 hours per week for 6-10 week sessions, 2-3 times per year. Candidate will work remotely and report to a manager via phone, email or text. Specific work hours and location are determined by the program schedule for the EM Member School and are non-negotiable. Candidate is expected to arrive on time or early every scheduled day, to remain until the last student has been picked-up by a parent or authorized adult, and to fulfill their obligation to the position for the entire school year.

PBS NewsHour Student Reporting Labs has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Producer with a passion for education and journalism. Student Reporting Labs (SRL) is a video journalism program in schools around the country. As our Associate Producer, you’ll manage our school portfolio and work regularly with teachers and students, ensuring the best program experience.

As an Associate Producer, SRL, you also will:

  • Update the program website with various content.
  • Provide editorial feedback to students.
  • Quality control.

You have:

  • Experience using WordPress and other CMS platforms.
  • Ability to produce interactive content
  • Knowledge/experience in journalism, education and public broadcasting media.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with an eye for detail.
  • A minimum 2 years of experience working in journalism/bachelor’s degree/equivalent combination of training and experience.
