HR Generalist- WETA
WETA is looking for an HR Generalist to work as a partner, administration, and change agent for approximately 160 staff in an assigned client group. Under the direction of the VP of HR, The Generalist maintains an effective level of business literacy about the assigned business units’ plans and goals, talent marketplace, culture, and competition and uses technology effectively.
The HR Generalist will work closely with HR colleagues in recruiting and ATS, internships, employee transactions and accompanying documentation, performance management, compensation, compliance and policies, diversity outreach, metrics and reporting, compensation, and benefits. The Generalist has a strong interest in producing high quality work produces, has excellent organization, project planning, presentation, and time management skills, and demonstrated understanding and application of computer technology. Additionally, the HR Generalist has outstanding interpersonal skills, the demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities, and have sound judgement and ability to use discretion in handling sensitive HR issues, along with skill in providing objective, neutral, and strategic HR services.
Qualified applicants have BA/BS in Human Resources or equivalent field, PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP Certification preferred, and a minimum 5 (five) years of progressively responsible experience in Human Resources with at least 2 years in Recruiting, or equivalent combination of training and experience. The applicant should have prior experience with union employees, prior experience in recruiting and other HR functions, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
