The Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP) is an international professional organization dedicated exclusively to developing the men and women who encourage charity in North America’s health care organizations. Established in 1967, AHP is the source for education, networking, information and research in health care philanthropy. AHP is a not-for-profit organization with its international headquarters located outside Washington D.C. in Falls Church, Virginia.

Summary of Position: The Director, Education is a key member of the leadership team and will report directly to the President and CEO. This individual will oversee and be responsible for the education platform as presented in the AHP strategic plan. The Director should have significant experience in the field of education within the healthcare philanthropy field. This individual should also have senior management experience that demonstrates an innovative spirit and collaborative outlook that will help grow and enhance the AHP culture. This position is an essential piece of the AHP strategic plan and will be responsible for building and growing an education program. The Association looks to the Director of Education to assist in becoming an influential global thought-leader in the healthcare philanthropy industry. The programs direction lead by the Director of Education will showcase a proactive and results-oriented approach.
