Under the direction of the Manager, the PRINCIPLE accountabilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Responds to a high volume of phone calls from all levels of management regarding budgeting issues. Provides office management duties and assistance to professionals within the department.
- Problem solving by the incumbent includes determining the most effective means of minimizing interruptions to management, relieving them of administrative detail, and responding to special project requests. Required to work both independently and as part of a team and the ability to prioritize assignments effectively.
- Remains very flexible regarding the locations and groups being supported, while providing efficient and confidential administrative and secretarial support in an environment of rapidly changing priorities. Completes assigned tasks while handling interruptions requiring immediate attention.
- Organizes and responds to the administrative demands placed on management in providing telephone coverage, preparing correspondence, mail, filing and scheduling travel, meetings and events.
Required: A minimum of three to five years experience supporting high level personnel. Requires familiarity with corporate policies and procedures, word processing, and the ability to type accurately. The position requires effective written and oral communication skills and an exceptionally professional telephone manner. Effectively organize and prioritize assignments to meet established time frames and deadlines. Incumbent must be able to handle and work through constant interruptions, such as phones and visitors.
Abilities/Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to relay and communicate efficiently and effectively to all levels of management and personnel. Skilled PC use with word-processing, spreadsheet, database management and graphic programs. Incumbent must be able to prepare executive level presentations.

The employee is primarily seated while performing the duties of the position. Occasional walking or standing is required.
