Jr. Sales Representative with AEEC

AEEC is currently seeking a Junior Sales Representative to assist our Sales and Marketing staff in our Corporate Headquarters office in Reston, VA.

Position description: Utilize prospecting techniques to find new clients in the market and schedule meeting with prospective clients. Act as a point of contact and build influential client relationships. Drive to deliver excellence while balancing small details and the big picture. Display the enthusiasm to do what it takes to get the job done. Manage time, running a busy calendar (i.e. scheduling meetings, conference calls, interviews, and meet-ups).

Provide primary job duties:

  • Research customers 20%
  • Generate leads for Cloud related products and services 25%
  • Follow up on leads for Cloud related products and services 25%
  • Time management, running a busy calendar (i.e. scheduling meetings, conference calls, interviews, and meet-ups) 20%
  • Stay abreast of product offerings 10%

 Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Experience in professional networking
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to connect with
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Technical aptitude or a desire to learn
  • Ability to follow up on sales leads
  • Ability to generate sales leads
  • Ability to work independently

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with AWS, including AWS certification
  • Experience with IBM SoftLayer
  • Technical pre-sales background
